Norton St. Investigation

Rochester, NY - On 10/15/26 at approximately 3:45 a.m., the Rochester Police Department began an investigation in the 200 block of Norton St.  As a result of this investigation, both vehicular as well as pedestrian traffic was closed on Norton St. between Teralta St. and Holenbeck St. 

Additionally, all of Nye Pk. and a small portion of Conkey Ave. were also closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Traffic in the area is expected to be reopened in the next 30 minutes and there is no public safety threat to the community at large. 

No arrests have been made nor were there any injuries associated with this investigation.  Additional information regarding the type of investigation being conducted and whether any arrests were made, may be released later this afternoon.  Thank you.
