Federal Jury Convicts Livingston County Man
ROCHESTER, N.Y.-U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Patrick J. Steinmetz, 40, of Springwater, NY, was convicted by a federal jury of two counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 60 years. Doran Street Shooting Arrest
Rochester, NY - On June 26, around 2:20pm, Officers responded to Doran Street for a family trouble with an update that there was possibly a male shot. Officers arrived and located a male in his 30s suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. Kyshonn Green Sentenced to 23 years to Life
Rochester, NY- On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Monroe County Court Judge Douglas Randall sentenced 33-year-old Kyshonn Green to 23 years to Life in the New York State Department of Corrections. He was previously convicted by a jury of Murder in the 2nd Degree for the murder of J’Mere Ridley-Smith. Warwick Street Incident: Update
Update: The witness that complained of additional injuries was treated and released from Strong Hospital this morning. Besides being treated for dog bites, a small metallic object, potentially a bullet fragment was removed from his leg. Indictment Unsealed Charging Daycare Provider
Rochester, NY- Wednesday, June 17, 2026, a Monroe County Grand Jury indictment was unsealed in front of New York State Supreme Court Justice Judith Sinclair, charging 31-year- old Casey Raetz with seven counts of Assault in the 2nd Degree and six counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for the physical abuse of five children. Rochester, NY - On 6/16/26 at approximately 10:31 p.m., the Rochester Police Department responded to the 100 block of Glendale Park for the report of an individual being assaulted by at least one suspect. Rochester, NY - On June 9, 2026, around 4:30am, Officers responded to the 300 block of Lyell Avenue for the report of a male shot. Officers located the victim, a male in his 40s, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the lower body. He was transported by ambulance to Strong Hospital for treatment. Warwick Street Incident
Rochester, NY - Just after 1am, Officers responded to the 100 block of Kirkland Road for the report of two males fighting over a shotgun with a dog trying to bite people.
