Menacing a Police Officer Arrest
Rochester, NY - On May 1, around 6:45pm, Officers responded to the area of Norton Street and Goodman Street for the report of a male with a gun. Officers located the male, 19-year old Angel Cirilo, at the corner of Goodman Street and Strathmore Circle, where he immediately ran from Officers. Reynolds Street: Around 10:45pm, last night, Officers responded to the 200 block of Reynolds Street for the report of a menacing with a handgun. Officers located the suspect in the passenger seat of a 2014 Ford Fusion. Further investigation located a 9mm “ghost gun”, loaded with ten rounds. Rochester, NY- On Thursday, April 23, 2026, New York State Supreme Court Justice Stephen Miller sentenced 55-year-old Jamie Busch to 25 years to life in the New York State Department of Corrections. Lyell Avenue Gun Arrest
Rochester, NY - Around 8:15pm, last night, Officers conducted a traffic stop of a 2021 Kia in the 200 block of Lyell Avenue for violation(s) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. During the subsequent stop and investigation, they learned that the 53-year old male operator of the vehicle had a suspended license. As the investigation continued, Officers located a 9mm “ghost gun”, loaded with 30 rounds, in the 16-year old, rear passenger’s waistband. He was safely taken into custody.


Murder Arrest
Rochester, NY - On September 19, 2023 at about 9:15 pm, 48- year-old Derrick Ellis was shot in the upper-body near the corner of Diringer Place and N. Goodman St. Ellis was rushed to URMC where he was ultimately pronounced dead. Ellis was standing on a porch at a residence on Diringer Pl. when he was shot by an unknown suspect.
