Dog Shooting Arrest
Rochester, NY - On May 5, 2026, Officers responded to an address on First Street for the report of a dog shot. Officers located a 3-year old French Bulldog suffering from a gunshot wound to the rear leg. Thankfully, the dog survived its injuries. The preliminary investigation found that the suspect was walking on the sidewalk when “Miracle” barked at him. The suspect pulled out a handgun and fired at least one round, striking “Miracle” in a rear leg before fleeing the scene.
