Newcomb Street Shooting Arrest

Rochester, NY -On July 24, around 9:30pm, Officers responded to the 100 block of Newcomb Street for the report of a person shot. Upon arrival, Officers located 45-year old Earl Wright suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to Strong Hospital in life-threatening condition, which was later upgraded to non-life threatening. Wright was located on the front porch of the house, next to a Taurus 9mm handgun. During the preliminary investigation, Officers located 26-year old Sincere Lane in a nearby house suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the lower body.
