Rochester Public Market Kicks Off 2026 Events Season


Rochester, NY - Mayor Malik D. Evans today announced the 2026 events season at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St. Dozens of special events through the end of the year offer music, food, and fun for all ages.

 

Year-round, the Rochester Public Market also offers market days featuring produce and goods from local farmers, food makers, and small businesses at affordable prices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturdays, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

“From market days to special events, the Rochester Public Market is truly a one-stop shop for Rochester’s residents, families and visitors,” said Mayor Evans. “Don’t miss out on the vibrant music, food and fun!”

 

Signature Market events include:

 

Food Truck Rodeos

5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 29, May 27, June 24, July 29, Aug. 26 and Sept. 30

Food Truck Rodeos convene dozens of favorite and new local food trucks together with live, local music on the last Wednesday of every month from April through September. Attendees are welcome to bring folding chairs and tables. Learn more at www.CityofRochester.gov/FoodTruckRodeo.

 

Flower City Days at the Market

8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays, May 10-31, and Monday, May 25

On Sundays from May 10 through May 31, plus Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, these popular horticultural extravaganzas feature vibrant perennials and colorful annuals, distinctive hanging baskets and potted plants, wide assortments of succulents, herbs and vegetables, along with unique outdoor art, decorations and accessories. Great NY State Flea at the Market

Upcoming Dates: 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 14, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sundays, June 14, July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11The Market is again joining forces again with the Great New York State Flea to offer seven “flea market” events that began Sunday, April 19 and will continue once a month through October. Formerly called Community Garage Sales, the flea markets feature a diverse array of vendors and products with a new theme each month. Learn more at www.CityofRochester.gov/FleaMarket.

 

Bands on the Bricks

6 to 10 p.m., Fridays, July 10-Aug. 14

One of Rochester's most popular free live music series, Bands on the Bricks, presented by the IDE Family of Dealerships, brings national acts and favorite local bands to the Market on consecutive Friday nights in July and August. Food and drink vendors will be there to complete your night. Halloween at the Market

4:30 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25

The Sunday before Halloween each year, the Public Market is the place to be for families to trick-or-treat and enjoy activities, entertainment, arts and crafts, and more. Learn more at www.CityofRochester.gov/MarketHalloween

 

Holidays at the Market

8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sundays, Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, and 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10.
