Today, Uniting and Healing Through Hope Continues Campaign to Stop Violence in Community

The ongoing violence continues to drive the efforts of Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County.

The organization and founder, Clay Harris, will be joined by community leaders, local church leaders, police agencies, and local concerned citizens to kick off the Stop the Violence March and Prayer Rally.

Our community has sadly come to expect daily occurrences of violence, car thefts and smash and grabs. They are taking a heavy toll on our community and businesses. Our citizens and families are feeling increasingly unsafe with each passing day.

Our goal issteadfast and unwavering. It is to be relentless in denouncing violence. It is to bring all people together as one voice. A voice that has been heard in previous Stop the Violence marches and rallies. It is a voice that will continue to grow louder.

Uniting and Healing Through Hope encourages the Mayor of Rochester, City officials, County Executive, Legislators, Congressional and local state elected officials to participate in both our press event and the march and rally, and demonstrate your commitment in breaking the cycle of violence. This will be the last march and rally for the year.
