Third Street Drug and Gun Arrests

Rochester, NY - Around 1:15am, this morning, Officers stopped a 2013 Hyundai in the 100 block of Third Street for violation(s) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. During the subsequent investigation, Officers recovered a loaded .40 caliber Taurus handgun, and a quantity of suspected narcotics. As a result of the investigation, both the operator of the vehicle and his passenger were taken to the Monroe County Jail and charged as follows:

Mohamed Ibrahim, age 24, is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, and violation(s) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Sara Colon, age 33, is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
