Seneca Falls Man Arrested

Rochester, N.Y.-U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Bradley R. Orlopp, 38, of Seneca Falls, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with the production and possession of child pornography. Because of a prior conviction involving the sexual abuse of a minor, the charges carry a minimum of 25 years in prison, a maximum of 50 years, a lifetime period of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.

According to the criminal complaint, in March 2026, the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EUROPOL) sent an investigative lead to the New York State Police (NYSP) identifying Orlopp as a member of an internet chat group devoted to the rape and sexual assault of incapacitated women. Based on information contained in the chat, EUROPOL determined that Orlopp was a resident of New York State. Through their investigation, the NYSP confirmed that Orlopp was a participant in the chat, and identified an adult victim, a resident of Geneva, NY, to be one of Orlopp’s victims. Investigators determined that Orlopp subjected the victim to sexual activity without her consent on more than one occasion and arrested him, charging Orlopp with Rape in the First Degree.

Subsequent investigation resulted in the execution of search warrants on Orlopp’s social media accounts and devices, which led to the discovery of images and videos of child pornography that Orlopp also produced. The videos depict Orlopp sexually abusing a nine-year- old female in Seneca County, NY.

Orlopp made an initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Colleen D. Holland and was detained.

The criminal complaint is the result of an investigation by the New York State Police, under the direction of Major Kevin Sucher and the FBI, under the direction of Special Agent-in- Charge Allen D. Davis, II.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
