Rochester West Indian Festival Organization, Inc. Brings Carifest 2023
The Rochester West Indian Festival Organization, Inc. (RWIFO), this weekend is hosting the return of the 38th annual celebration of Caribbean culture with Carifest 2023, the largest Caribbean festival in Western New York.
The annual festival will take place Saturday, August 12 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square. A celebratory parade will bring in the festivities at 11 a.m.
The event provides a day of live music, food, cultural events and much more at the MLK Memorial Park.
The RWIFO Board is extremely proud of the rich heritage this festival brings to the community.
