Kenwood Ave. Assault Investigation
Rochester, NY - On 10/11/26 at approximately 11:40 p.m., the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Kenwood Ave./Chili Ave. for the report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival officers located a 33 year old, male, City of Rochester resident, who sustained a stab wound to the upper body. He was transported via AMR ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of what has been determined to be non-life threatening injuries.
Additionally, officers were able to locate the suspect, a 41 year old, male, City of Rochester resident, involved in this incident. The victim and the suspect had a verbal altercation prior to the victim sustaining his injuries.
The suspect will be charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree and transported to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment.
