International Plaza Kicks off Fourth Season Sunday with Celebration of Music and Culture of Mexico


Rochester’s most cosmopolitan shopping and entertainment venue opens for its fourth full season from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5 with a celebration of Cinco de Mayo.

 

The International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave., will kick off the 2024 Sunday Markets with “Alma de Mexico,” celebrating the culture and music of Mexico. Food vendors will offer items from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, and Romania. Sunday Markets will continue through Oct. 13.

 

Managed in collaboration with the City of Rochester and the Ibero American Development Corp., the International Plaza brings the world to Rochester with a variety of food, gifts and entertainment from vendors and performers highlighting a wide assortment of global cuisine, culture and heritage. Community partners will also be on site to present information on valuable services and resources.

 

The International Plaza offers an ideal, affordable location for merchants seeking to engage directly with the public. Vendor spaces remain available with rates starting at just $20 per week. Discounts are available for multiple weeks and for the season.
