IN Control Hosts Local Teen Model Casting Call
Are you a teen looking for an awesome opportunity to showcase your fashion skills and gain confidence in the process? Look no further!
Local teen empowerment center, In Control is hosting the teen fashion show Model Casting Call and they are looking for models ages 13-18. This fashion show is a great chance for teens to express their creativity and take risks in a safe and supportive environment.
The audition will only be one day, so don’t miss out! On Sunday, February 19th, the doors open at 1pm and close at 4pm. All experiences are welcome at the audition, so no matter your skill level, come out and show your stuff.
In Control’s Outreach and Education Specialist, Davanique Collier, a model herself, is in involved heavily with the teen show. She was born and raised in the city of Rochester, Collier was also a participant at In Control when she was a teen. Also, a local Real estate agent, Collier feels the importance of her work with teens and giving back to her community.
In Control is “Roc City’s Most Official Teen Program.” For over 25 years, we have been a program with a purpose. We link together opportunities, neighborhood outreach, and health education to help youth thrive. The program has educational, career, and rec programs that give you the tools you need to have a successful future. We focus on your abilities and will work to inspire you to reach your full potential, according to the organization’s website.
