It's concerning to see Dr. Lesli Myers-Small appointed as the new Executive Director of the Police Accountability Board (PAB), given her history of poor leadership at the Rochester City School District. Her early contract termination, not solely attributed to recent incidents but indicative of broader concerns about her management, raises serious questions about her suitability for this critical role.

The decision to overlook these concerns and appoint her seems perplexing. One wonders why someone with a track record of questionable management decisions, including accusations of sexual harassment, would be considered for such a pivotal oversight position. This appointment would likely draw more scrutiny if the circumstances were different, highlighting potential disparities in public perception based on gender and race.

It's intriguing that you'd bring up Sandra Doorley and judges in the context of this article, yet overlook the criminal histories of some of your acquaintances who've managed to evade scrutiny. The article's premise that the Police Accountability Board lacks effectiveness without real authority raises valid points. If it's to remain toothless, perhaps it's time to reconsider its role and save taxpayers' money.

Attributing its ineffectiveness to figures like Sandra Doorley and alleged judicial misconduct is contentious. Such claims need…

NO ONE can possibly be successful --- unless they are going to grant the toothless-tiger some POWER. In its current state --- it is useless. If they are not going to grant it power --- they should reel it in, and save the taxpayer's loot. Thanks to CRIMINALS like Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley and crooked judges --- they have rendered it completely POWERLESS!!!
