YMCA HOSTING COMMUNITY EVENT AIMED AT CREATING SAFE SPACES & MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS

WHAT: The Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center is hosting our third annual "Lockdown on Violence" event designed to unite and uplift the Market view Heights neighborhood by providing a safe and supportive space for the community to connect, engage and build meaningful relationships with local law enforcement. In addition to free activities and food during the event, the Y will have food baskets for families available, as well as kites to giveaway to all kids and teens in attendance.
WHEN: Friday, June 27 | 4-7 pm (4:30-5:30 pm for best visuals)WHERE: Lewis Street YMCA Neighborhood Center | 53 Lewis Street, Rochester, NY 14605
BROLL/PHOTOS: Neighbors enjoying activities with local law enforcement. Interviews with YMCA staff and participants will be available.
