Thurston Rd. Hit & Run

Rochester, NY- At approximately 12:00AM officers responded to the 500 block of Thurston Rd for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon their arrival they located the victim, a 56 year old female (City of Rochester resident), who had been hit by a vehicle. The victim was in the roadway inspecting a flat tire on her car when a sedan, which was traveling southbound on Thurston Rd, struck her and then fled the scene. The victim was transported to Strong Hospital and diagnosed with non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact 911.
