Seventh Street Investigation

Rochester, NY - Around 4pm, yesterday afternoon, Officers responded to the 100 block of Seventh Street for the report of a menacing. The victim reported that when she arrived home, there were multiple people in her home. The suspects threatened her with firearms before fleeing in a white Chevy.
A description of the vehicle was broadcast and the license plate was identified. Just before 6pm, Officers spotted the vehicle in the 100 block of Orange Street and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, the passenger of the vehicle, 18- year old Gemarion Parson, was found to have a loaded handgun in his waistband and an AR style pistol in a book bag that he was wearing. Parson was safely taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail.
The driver of the vehicle, 22-year old Tyrik Parson, was identified as being involved in the incident on Seventh Street. He was safely taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail.
While processing the Parson Brothers, their mother, 48-year old Tamika Parson, arrived at the Rochester Police Department facility that the brothers were being processed at. She was safely taken into custody for her role in the incident on Seventh Street.
Recovered from Gemarion Parson were a 9mm “Ghost Gun” loaded with 17 rounds and an Omni 5.56 caliber AR style pistol, which was loaded with 30 rounds.
As a result, the following charges have been filed:
Gemarion Parson, age 18, is charged with two counts each of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degree.
Tyrik Parson, age 22, is charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degree, and Menacing in the 2nd Degree.
Tamika Parson, age 48, is charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree and Menacing in the 2nd Degree.
