POLICE INVESTIGATION

Brighton, NY - On November 19, 2025, at 4:17 PM, Brighton Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Elmwood Avenue and Lac De Ville Boulevard following a report of a male found unresponsive. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Jordan Burroughs of Rochester, NY, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

A preliminary investigation revealed no indication of foul play, and investigators have determined that there is no threat to the community.  

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact 9-1-1 and request to speak with a Brighton Police Department Supervisor.

The Brighton Police Department would like to thank the New York State Police, the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office, the Brighton Fire Department, and the Brighton Volunteer Ambulance for their valuable assistance in this investigation.
