Operation Safe Stop

On October 22, the Brighton Police Department is participating in Operation Safe Stop, a statewide initiative to educate the public about the dangers of passing stopped school buses that have their red lights flashing.

Shockingly, it's estimated that 50,000 vehicles in New York State commit this violation daily, prompting law enforcement to increase their efforts to prevent these hazardous actions.
