NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR WHITE PINE COMMERCE PARK SITE CLEARANCE PROJECTCONTRACT 1 – ASBESTOS REMO

Sealed bids for the asbestos abatement, demolition, disposal of structures located at the White Pine Commerce Park site on NYS Route 31 in Clay, New York will be received at the office of the Onondaga County Purchasing Director, 13th floor, John H. Mulroy Civic Center, 421 Montgomery Street, Syracuse, New York, until 2:00 PM Local Time, onJuly 18, 2023, and there at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be on a lump sum basis.

The project will consist of asbestos abatement, demolition, disposal of structures located at approximately 42 addresses on the White Pine Commerce Park and associated Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is a public works project with a registered NYSDOL Article 8 Prevailing Rate Case number of 2023005881.

This project will be subject to NYS prevailing wage. Contractor to provide the following: MWBE Utilization plan, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement, Workforce Employment Utilization Report, and Minority and Women Business Enterprise Utilization Goals: MBE Utilization Goal of 18% and WBE Utilization Goal of 12%.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security Deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security must be in the form of a bid bond or certified/ bank check, made payable to the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency. Bidder shall be prepared to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract amount.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any bid informalities or to reject any or all bids.
