Murder Investigation: 711 N. Plymouth Ave.

Rochester, NY- At approximately 8:30 pm Officers responded to the 700 block of North Plymouth Ave for the report of a person shot. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim 34-year-old Isiah Thomas, suffering from at least one gunshot to his upper body. Officers gave emergency medical aid to Thomas and he was rushed to Strong Hospital via AMR. He was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.

Thomas was in the area of N. Plymouth Ave. and Spencer St. when at least two dozen gunshots were fired. Detectives are in the process of determining the circumstance that led up to the shooting. At this time it appears Thomas was the intended target.

The Major Crimes Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation and is asking anybody
