Murder Investigation

Rochester, NY - On September 21, 2026 at about 8:30 pm occupants of 37 Roth St. called 911 to report an unresponsive person inside the house. Emergency personnel arrived and found 28-year- old Dynell Babers-White inside suffering from at least one stab wound to the upper- body. Officers administered emergency first aid and Babers-White was rushed to URMC by AMR. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Detectives are in the process of determining the circumstances leading up to the stabbing of Babers-White, but it is believed this was an isolated incident.

Babers-White lived at the residence with other family members.

There are currently no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
