Murder Investigation: 24 Mazda Ter.

On August 15, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers were called to 24 Mazda Ter. for the report of a person shot on the porch. Upon arrival, they located the victim, a male believed to be in his 40s, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was rushed to URMC by AMR, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The preliminary investigation so far has led investigators to believe the victim was hanging out on the porch of the residence with at least one other individual when an argument ensued. The argument escalated, resulting in the victim being shot.

There are no suspects in custody. We will be working with the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office to identify the victim.

24/26 Mazda Terrace is a duplex, with at least #26 being used as a boarding-type residence. It is unclear at this time if #24 is actually occupied or being used as a flop house.
