Rochester, NY - On November 18, 2025 at about 6:45 p.m. officers responded to the gas station at the corner of St. Paul St and Norton St for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and found a male victim in his 30s, in the front driver’s seat of a vehicle suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the preliminary investigation it has been learned the victim was alone in his vehicle and parked at the gas pumps. The suspect approached the vehicle on foot and immediately began shooting multiple gunshots into the vehicle. The suspect is believed to have fled the area on foot after the shooting.
There are no suspects in custody at this time. It appears the victim was likely targeted and this was not a random act of violence.
The victim’s identity is being withheld at pending family notification.
