Movies With a Downtown View Presents Free Screening of Wicked This Friday at Parcel 5

A Downtown Definitely Series Event

WHAT

Movies With a Downtown View summer series continues with a free outdoor screening of “Wicked” (2024), the blockbuster musical that tells the untold story of the witches of Oz. Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba alongside Ariana Grande as Glinda. It’s the second of three films in this year’s series, which began in June with “Sister Act” and concludes August 29 with “The Greatest Showman.” This season’s films were selected through a public vote.

Before the movie begins, attendees can meet the witches, Glinda and Elphaba, and enjoy a variety of free, family-friendly activities, including face painting and a themed photo booth. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from a selection of food trucks.
