Monroe County Family Coalition, Inc., hosts 2nd annual youth and family wellness conference, Hope In Action: Building communities and strengthening families

ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The Monroe County Family Coalition (MCFC) is hosting its 2nd Annual Youth & Family Wellness Conference, a two-day event on Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, to promote physical, emotional, and social wellness in the Greater Rochester community. The event is designed to encourage people of all ages to discover and access the resources they need to enhance their health and overall quality of life. With over 400 attendees at the inaugural conference in June 2024, MCFC, with the support of committed businesses, leaders, and changemakers, is proud to continue this free, transformative event again this year.


Hope in Action: Building Communities and Strengthening Families Attendees will participate in a variety of activities, including physical wellness, mental health, and interactive, family-focused sessions. There will also be educational workshops focused on healthy relationships, connecting with kids, and family health and wellness. On both days, there will be food, a DJ, a bounce house, and resource tables for families to engage with, featuring over twenty-five local organizations that offer information and immediate access to needed services. Additionally, on Saturday, there will be raffles and MCFC will provide 250 backpacks filled with school supplies and 250 health and wellness bags filled with information on mental and physical health. Youth & Family Wellness Conference Location: Asbury First Methodist Church, 1050 East Ave.


● Friday, July 11, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (registration starts at 5 pm.)

● Saturday, July 12, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (registration and breakfast start at 9 am.)
