Locust Street Stabbing

Rochester, NY - Around 10:40am, this morning, we responded to an address on Locust St for the report of someone stabbed.  Upon arrival, Officers located two makes fighting in the street, one of whom had a puncture wound to the torso. 

The preliminary investigation found that the males are known to each other and during an altercation, the victim was stabbed. The victim, a male in his 40s, was transported to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The suspect, 28-year old Joey Cintron-Rosario, was safely taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail.

Cintron-Rosario has been charged with Assault in the 2^nd Degree.
