Indictment Unsealed Charging Daycare Provider

Rochester, NY- Wednesday, June 17, 2026, a Monroe County Grand Jury indictment was unsealed in front of New York State Supreme Court Justice Judith Sinclair, charging 31-year- old Casey Raetz with seven counts of Assault in the 2nd Degree and six counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for the physical abuse of five children.
Each count of Assault in the 2nd Degree allege that Casey Raetz caused injury to a person less than seven years old. Casey Raetz operated an unlicensed daycare in her home in the Town of Gates.
Casey Raetz was arrested on Tuesday June 16, 2026. This case was investigated by the GatesPolice Department.
At the arraignment, five No Contact Orders of Protection were issued for all victims. Justice Sinclair set bail in the amount of $300,000 cash, $900,000 bond, or $2,000,000 partially secured bond.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Hillary Langdon, Chief of the Special Victims Unit, and Assistant District Attorney Kaylee Rizzari, also of the Special Victims Unit.
The next court date is scheduled for August 18, 2026, for argument of motions before Justice Sinclair.
