ONONDAGACOUNTY BID REFERENCE NO. ONGOV-097-23.

Sealed bids for the construction of the Renovations to Coulter Hall – Set A& B, located at4585 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse New York 13215 will be received at the office of the Onondaga County Purchasing Director, 13th floor, John H. Mulroy Civic Center, 421 Montgomery Street, Syracuse, New York, until 2:00 PM Local Time, on August 3, 2023, and there at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be on a lump sum basis.

The project will consist of 5,856 SF of renovations total in two areas on the 2nd floor of the O.C.C. Sidney B. Coulter Hall Library. The renovation work is a level 2 alteration, includes but not limited to, reconfiguration of spaces, new and refurbished finishes, new doors, new interior glazing, mechanical, electrical & fire protection improvements and other work indicated in the contract documents.

Bidders are informed that this project is being progressed by the Onondaga Community College Facilities Department. This project will be subject to NYS prevailing wage. Contractor to provide the following: MWBE Utilization plan, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement, Workforce Employment Utilization Re- port, Apprenticeship Program, and Minority and Women Business Enterprise Utilization Goals: MBE Utilization Goal of 18% and WBE Utilization Goal of 12%.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security Deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security must be in the form of a bid bond or certified/ bank check, made payable to The County of Onondaga. Bids with inadequate bid security will be declared informal.
