Cuba Place Robbery Arrests

Rochester, NY - On January 14, 2026, around 7:30pm, Officers responded to an address on Cuba Place for the report of a robbery. The victim reported that he was taking part in a poker game when multiple individuals, armed with firearms, entered the house and forcibly stole property from the victims. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Unit began investigating the incident and were able to identify 18- year old Gemarion Parson and his 22-year old brother, Tyrik Parson as the suspects. On January 15, a Clinton Section Officer observed the Parson Brothers operating a vehicle in northeast Rochester. With assistance from the United States Marshal’s Violent Fugitive Task Force, the vehicle was stopped on Maria Street and the suspects were safely taken into custody. Both were transported to the Monroe County Jail and charged as follows:

Gemarion Parson, age 18, is charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree and Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree.

Tyrik Parson, age 22, is charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree and Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree.

The Parson Brothers were also arrested on December 29, 2025, after a robbery, and found in possession of both a “Ghost Gun” and an AR style pistol, which had extended magazines. They were charged in that incident with two counts Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degree. Tyrik was also charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree and Menacing in the 2nd Degree in relation to that incident.
