Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County Reminds Local Media College and Job Fair Happening Now

Mr. Clay Harris, Founder and President of Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County, would like to remind and invite the media to attend the Job Fair today Thursday, October 9 at the Blue Cross Arena from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The College and Job Fair will bring together a wide range of participants, including, colleges, universities, vocational schools, local employers and job training programs, offering valuable opportunities for individuals seeking higher education, employment or career advancement.

Mr. Harris emphasized that this initiative reflects the organization’s belief that education, employment, and training are powerful tools to address the social and crime challenges as evidenced in our community this recent weekend where a multitude of violent acts.

“When people have access to education, and job skills, it strengthens families, restores hope, and reduces the cycles of hardship we see in our neighborhoods,” said Mr. Harris. “This event is about giving people opportunities to build a better future.”
