Clifford Avenue Gun Arrest

Rochester, NY - Just after midnight, this morning, Officers in the 1200 block of Clifford Avenue observed a 17-year old male walking into a corner store. Officers recognized the male due to his house recently having been struck by gunfire. As Officers went to speak with the male in the store, they observed an extended handgun magazine protruding from his sweatpants pocket. Further investigation found that prior to the Officers entering the store, the male had hidden a handgun underneath a case of drinks. Upon checking, Officers located a .22 caliber Glock handgun.

The 17-year old male was transported to Youth Part for arraignment and then the Monroe County Children’s Center. He is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degree.
