Clifford Avenue Domestic Incident/Illegal Handgun


Rochester, NY - Today, around Noon, in the area of Clifford Avenue and Joseph Avenue, a Rochester Police Officer assigned to Clinton Section was flagged down regarding a domestic incident. The suspect in the incident, reported to be armed, was in the process of leaving the area. Officers were able to locate, and safely detain, the armed suspect a short distance away. The suspect was found to be in possession of a 9mm privately made firearm, also commonly referred to as a “ghost gun”, containing a 31 round magazine and 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition.


Kerry L. White, age 20, is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd Degrees and Harassment 2nd Degree. He has been transported to the Monroe County Jail and is expected to be arraigned tonight in CAP Court.Thankfully nobody was injured during this incident.
