Chili Avenue crash into home

Rochester, NY- At approximately 1:43 AM, Rochester Police Department (RPD) officers responded to the 300 block of Chili Avenue for the report of a vehicle that had struck a residential structure. Upon arrival, officers located a four-door sedan resting against the front porch of a home. No significant structural damage to the residence was observed.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the sedan had been legally parked in front of the home when it was struck from behind by a second vehicle, described as an SUV, traveling at a high rate of speed. The SUV fled the scene but was later located nearby, unoccupied. There were no reported injuries to the residents of the home. The incident remains under investigation.
