BROCKPORT, NY— The residents of Evergreen Place are putting one foot in front of the other—literally. On Saturday, October 4, at 10 a.m., the community will be joining the Alzheimer's Association's Annual Walk to End Alzheimer's at Frontier Field. The goal is to support nearly 7 million Americans living with the disease.
Residents, staff, friends, and neighbors are invited to join the Evergreen Place team or contribute through a donation. Every step counts, and every participant adds energy and visibility to a cause that affects families across the country.
"This walk gives everyone here a way to pitch in and make a difference," said Julie Westcott, Executive Director of Evergreen Place. "Whether it's residents walking with staff or families cheering from the sidelines, it's a simple act that adds up in a big way for people living with Alzheimer's."
