Rochester, NY - The man shot and killed at 371 Hague St on 8/30/26 has been identified as 64-year-old Ronald Leonard Jr, City of Rochester resident.
There are no suspects in custody and no additional information to release at this time.
ORIGINAL NOTIFY
At about 2:15 pm, on 10/30/26, Rochester police officers responded t0 the 300 block of Hague St. for the report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they were directed to the backyard of the vacant residence at 371 Hague St. Officers found a male lying in the grass in the back portion of the yard. The male had been shot at least once in the torso and had died from his injuries. The victim is a male, believed to be in his 60s, and detectives are working to determine his identity.
The Major Crimes Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation and is asking anybody with information or video to call 911, the Major Crimes Section @ 585-428-7157, Crime Stoppers @ 585-423-9300, or email MajorCrimes@cityofrochester.gov.
