League of Women Voters Launches VOTE411 Election Tool Ahead of June Primary

The League of Women Voters of the Rochester Metropolitan Area (LWV-RMA) is promoting its nonpartisan election resource, VOTE411.org, ahead of the June 24 primary election.

VOTE411.org is a “one-stop shop” that provides personalized candidate information, voter registration details, polling place locations and other election-related tools to help voters across the Rochester area navigate the election process. The site is available in English and Spanish and is designed to support young people and first-time voters, among others.

“With important local races on the ballot, it is crucial for voters in the Rochester area to make their voices heard this election year,” said Barbara Grosh, president of the League. “VOTE411 is the nation’s premier online election resource, and we’ve published our local voter guide on the site to help inform our community.”

The early voting period in Monroe County runs from June 14 through June 22. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 24.

Grosh encouraged voters to use VOTE411.org to prepare for Election Day.

“We want every voter to feel confident and informed when they cast their ballot,” she said.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. It works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and advocates through education.
