Members of the City of Rochester’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will continue a series of in-person outreach activities to gather public input for the City’s fiscal year 2026-27 budget on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Dewey Avenue Fire Station Open House, 1477 Dewey Ave.
The series of in-person budget input sessions will continue through Oct. 25 at upcoming public events, where OMB staff invite the public to offer feedback on budget priorities.
The final in-person outreach activity will take place at The Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St., on Saturday, Oct 25, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
The City also encourages residents to participate in other community-input opportunities during the City’s annual budget process: an online survey and a Telephone Town Hall community forum.
The online survey, available at www.cityofrochester.gov/budget, will be live through Nov. 10.
The Telephone Town Hall will take place on Monday, Oct. 27, and provide thousands of city residents with an opportunity to participate in a live discussion about budget planning by phone with Mayor Evans and senior members of his staff.
For more information on the budget process, or to take the online survey visit www.cityofrochester.gov/budget.
