Details: Building on the momentum of its Districtwide literacy campaign, the RCSD will host a Level Up Literacy Conference this Saturday. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with the “Books and Looks” Fashion Show, Excellence in Teaching and Learning Awards, and parent and community engagement awards, followed by a day of interactive workshops for families, staff, and community partners. The conference is part of the District’s ongoing efforts to ensure literacy extends beyond the classroom and into every corner of the community. Launched in November, the Level Up for Literacy initiative is a citywide call to action to empower learners through literacy. By cultivating partnerships with faith-based organizations, local businesses, and families, the RCSD aims to provide every student with the foundation needed to accelerate their learning and unlock their potential.
