Members of the City of Rochester’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will continue the series of in person outreach activities to gather public input for the City’s fiscal year 2026-27 budget from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Westside Farmers Market in the St. Monica’s Church parking lot, 831 Genesee St.
The series of in-person budget input sessions will continue through Oct. 25 at several upcoming public events, where OMB staff invite the public to offer feedback on budget priorities. Following Tuesday’s event, the remaining activities will take place at the following public gatherings:
Dewey Avenue Fire House Open House, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 1477 Dewey Ave.
The Rochester Public Market, 8:30 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct 25, 280 N. Union St.
The City also encourages residents to participate in other community-input opportunities embedded into the City’s annual budget process: an online survey and a Telephone Town Hall community forum.
The online survey, available at www.cityofrochester.gov/budget, will be live through Nov. 10.
The Telephone Town Hall will take place on Monday, Oct. 27, and provide thousands of city residents with an opportunity to participate in a live discussion about budget planning by phone with Mayor Evans and senior members of his staff.
