Arnett Branch Library Prepares to Celebrate Its 100th Anniversary


The Arnett Branch of the Rochester Library System

The Arnett Branch of the Rochester Library System shall celebrate its 100th anniversary on Mon., Sep. 18, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the branch location, 310 Arnett Boulevard in the city of Rochester.


Rochester Mayor Malik D. Evans is expected to be joined in attendance by N.Y. State Senator Jeremy Cooney, N.Y. State Assemblyman Demond Meeks, Deputy Director of Community Libraries Melanie Lewis, Arnett Branch Library Manager Bruce Tehan, Rochester Public Library board members, library staff, and patrons.


The branch’s 100th anniversary celebration is anticipated to feature live music by the Don Smith Jazz Trio, and there will also be games, as well as a birthday cake commemorating the event.


The public-at-large is encouraged to attend.
