CCFCS Hosts: YouthBuild Graduation Ceremony

Rochester, NY (July 10, 2025) - Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) is proud to celebrate 15 young men and women as they graduate from our YouthBuild program. Over the past five months, these students have received construction job training at our YouthBuild worksite in Rochester. In addition, thanks to a partnership with Flower City Habitat for Humanity, they’ve received hands-on training building affordable housing in the local community. Students, their families, and community partners will gather for a ceremony in which students receive certification in the construction trades.

TIME:      2:00-4:00pm

               Ceremony starts promptly at 2:30pm

During the YouthBuild program, students receive tool kits, work boots and clothing. Most of the them will go on to full time jobs, including jobs in the construction industry.


ABOUT YOUTHBUILD:

YouthBuild is a national career and technical program run in Rochester by CCFCS. We offer youth ages 18 to 24 hands-on construction training, leadership development, and job placement. Since 2018, more than 200 young people have graduated from the CCFCS YouthBuild program with certification in the construction trades.
