Anyone here familiar with Northville Michigan? Thinking about making the move.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some honest insight on Northville Michigan. My partner and I have been toying with the idea of moving there. We drove through the area recently and it felt super charming with the walkable downtown, cute shops, and a surprisingly peaceful vibe for being so close to metro Detroit.
We’re a little torn because we don’t know anyone personally who lives there, so we’re hoping some locals or people familiar with the area can chime in. What’s it really like day to day? How’s the community? Do people tend to be pretty welcoming or is it more of a "keep to yourself" kind of town?
Also curious about the schools, parks, and any low-key gems or businesses in town. We saw a local organizing service called Beth Spiroff Organizing which made me think the town might have a strong small business vibe. That’s something we’re really drawn to.
Would love to hear from anyone who lives there or knows the area well. The good, the bad, the unexpected—bring it on.
