Details: On Friday morning, the World of Inquiry School No. 58 community will stand in solidarity with those battling cancer. Participants will have their hair cut or heads shaved by professional stylists to show that no one fights alone. This long-standing tradition originated as a middle school service project inspired by a book read in English class. Today, it remains an important part of the school’s community service efforts, recognizing that cancer has touched the lives of nearly every family in the school and beyond. Proceeds will benefit 13Thirty Cancer Connect and Roswell Cancer Center in Buffalo. World of Inquiry invites families, alumni, and community members to join the effort.
