Third-Annual Oktoberfest at the Public Market Set for Friday, Sept. 19

Rochester, NY - The third-annual Oktoberfest at the Public Market, a celebration of the German tradition of welcoming autumn with food, music, culture, and beer, will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19, at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union Street.

Like all special events at the Rochester Public Market, the Market’s Oktoberfest places special emphasis on fostering a family-friendly environment. The event will feature traditional German games, music and dances. Teams from the City’s Recreation on the Move mobile R-Center will also provide entertaining activities.

Admission to Oktoberfest at the Public Market is free. The event is sponsored by the City of Rochester, Rohrbach’s Brewing Company, and Swan Market.
