“RPO Around the Town” Ensemble Concert to Take Place at Susan B. Anthony Square

The City of Rochester and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will present a free “Around the Town” concert series 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 25 at Susan B. Anthony Square, 31 Madison St.

“The Around the Town concerts bring world-class, classical music right to our backyards and I’m proud to continue the City’s longstanding support of the RPO to provide these free, family-friendly, outdoor concerts,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “I encourage everyone to come out and experience the best of Rochester’s musical talent.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair or a blanket. Around the Town concerts are made possible by the City in conjunction with the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association, the Park Avenue Neighbors and Park Avenue Merchants Association, the Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance, and the Maplewood Neighborhood Association.

The final Around the Town concert will take place at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 1 at the Northeast Neighborhood Service Center lawn, 500 Norton St.
