Rochester Public Market Kicks Off Eight Days of Special Events and Market Shopping

The City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St., today announces eight consecutive days of Market event and shopping opportunities surrounding Memorial Day Weekend. From Thursday, May 22 through


Thursday, May 29, Market activities include:

  • Thursday, May 22: Regular Market shopping day, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Friday, May 23: Flower City Days at the Market, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 24: Regular Market shopping day, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Sunday, May 25: Flower City Days at the Market, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day): Flower City Days at the Market, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Tuesday, May 27: Regular Market shopping day, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Wednesday, May 28: Food Truck Rodeo featuring music by The Earthtones, 5 to 9 p.m.

  • Thursday, May 29: Regular Market shopping day, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Flower City Days at the Market features hundreds of vendors offering great bargains on gardening essentials, including vibrant perennials and colorful annuals, distinctive hanging baskets and potted plants, and a wide assortment of succulents, herbs, and vegetables, along with unique outdoor art, decorations and accessories. The final Flower City Day at the Market is Sunday, June 1.

 

Food Truck Rodeos, offered the last Wednesday of the month from April through September, convene dozens of creative mobile cuisine purveyors, along with local live music.
