The 2026 season of ROC the Block Community Employment Fairs continues from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Salvation Army Northwest Service Center, 100 West Ave. The fair will bring together 135 vendors, including employers and community resources.
ROC the Block is a community-based hiring initiative that brings businesses and recruiters to the city’s four quadrants throughout the summer and early fall. With this fun, local, block-party-style event, Rochester residents can meet local employers and discover employment opportunities.
Registered employers include Baldwin Richardson Foods, Goodwill of the Finger Lakes, the Regional Transit Service (RTS), Wegmans, and many more.
The City of Rochester’s Workforce Development Mobile Unit will also be available with Wi-Fi access and laptops that attendees can use for updating their résumés and completing job applications.
The final ROC the Block Community Employment Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at Parcel 5, 285 E. Main St.
Employers or organizations interested in participating in future ROC the Block employment fairs should email RocTheBlock@CityofRochester.Gov. To learn more, visit: www.CityofRochester.Gov/ROCTheBlock.
