Details: Students from across the District will take center stage in a production of CATS, Young Actors Edition, the latest performance from ROC City Players. Rehearsals began in October 2025. Founded in 2017 by Taylor Johnson, District musical director and music teacher at Dr. Iris J. Banister School No. 33, ROC City Players provides students with the opportunity to rehearse and perform full-scale musical productions. Since its inception, the program has staged audience favorites including The Wiz, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Newsies Jr., Mary Poppins, Jr., and Matilda, Jr.
