The City of Rochester invites you to review and share your feedback on its draft Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan.
Join us for an online public meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, from noon to 2 p.m., to learn about the draft plan and help shape Rochester’s path toward greater accessibility for all. The City encourages participation from individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and the organizations that support them. Residents with experience in accessibility needs and best practices are also encouraged to contribute.
The plan identifies ways to remove physical barriers and improve access within the City’s right-of-way, including sidewalks, crosswalks, bus stops, and other pedestrian spaces. Required by federal law, the ADA Transition Plan serves as a roadmap for building a more inclusive, equitable city.
ASL interpreters will be available during the meeting. For other accommodation or questions, contact Darin Ramsay at 585-428-6695 or darin.ramsay@cityofrochester.gov.
