This high-visibility initiative aims to raise awareness about the deadly risks and legal repercussions of driving while distracted. Distracted driving takes many forms, but the most common culprit is texting and cell phone use behind the wheel. If you need to send or receive a message, make sure to pull over to a safe location and park your vehicle before using your device. During this campaign, the Brighton Police Department will increase patrols to crack down on distracted driving, ensuring a safer road environment for everyone.
